Rex Jones had first seen her when she'd been barefoot and cane-pole fishing. He didn't know then that this was Tallulah Lavender, pillar of the Parrish Falls community. It didn't matter; he was hooked.

Lu had worked long and hard to establish the small town's first art gallery -- her late husband's last wish. Then Rex Jones came into town, and she was captivated. He was a tall, tough rock-slide of a man with a chipped-tooth grin that had her melting. Could she throw over a lifetime of selfless dedication for him? The townspeople would be appalled!
