Sunday Donaldson is adorable.
The minute Sunday gets her braces off, her family decides she should be a model. Sunday thinks it's a great idea. Modeling means wearing terrific clothes, meeting neat people, even being on TV. How could anything that exciting not be fun?
But Sunday wasn't ready for people to tell her she looked too old. Or too awkward. Or just not pretty enough. She didn't realize that her friends at school would think she was a big shot and hardly talk to her. And most of all, she didn't think her mother was counting on her so much to be a success. "Smile if it kills you," the photographers say. But Sunday doesn't know how much longer she can keep it up. Because suddenly, it's wrecking her life.
