The Karate Killings ...
Scotland Yard couldn't solve them.
Could "Sherlock Holmes"?
Sheridan Haynes, small-time actor, has always idolized Sherlock Holmes. When Sheridan finally has a smashing success playing the great sleuth in a television series, it's the fulfillment of a lifelong dream.
Then London is rocked by a series of apparently unrelated murders -- dubbed by the press the Karate' Killings. Sheridan says he can solve the crimes using the master's methods. Is this just a laughable case of an actor overidentifying with his role, or is Sheridan, just possibly, on to something?
