A Stranger Trespassing — Helena Shaw

Saloon singer Tave Sable had been kidnapped by Indians when she was a child. She is approached by Marcus Carasco, who proposes that she impersonates Catherine Willard, who was also kidnapped. When Tave loses her job, she is forced to accept the role despite her misgivings. The Willards are delighted at her return, but their partner, Lawson McLaren, is not so ready to accept her. Can Tave keep up the pretence - particularly as she is becoming increasingly attracted to McLaren?
