On the trail of Irene Bassault, DCI Sidney Walsh is summoned to a hoax at Edmont Castle, where visitors spotted a body at the bottom of a well. Bloodstained clothing leads to Robert Bassault - mystified by the incriminating trail, and unaware that his wife is missing let alone murdered.
