Missy heard the bell over the door jangling, as she finished up her latest confectionary masterpiece. Expecting it was her assistant Ben who had finally come in to help with the morning rounds she was shocked to find a handsome middle aged detective standing in her doorway looking to ask her about a recent homicide. Who died, she thought. Everyone knows about the rivalry between local celebrity baker Missy Gladstone and the jealous and often zealous donut man Darryl Davis from across town, but no one ever thought it would come to murder.
