Four years had passed since Cathy Muir had fled from Tidebridge, vowing never again to face those who had accused her of causing a triple tragedy. Now she had been summoned to return -- and dared not refuse.
Once again she would have to take up life in the great ugly mansion of her childhood…and once again she would be caught up in its brooding atmosphere.
