Kathy-Lynn prides herself on her accomplishments. She graduated at the top of her class at Emory University, established a successful career as a corporate attorney, and landed a second term in the United States Senate. She has been married to Phillip Whitefield, who is also a success in his own right, for 32 years. Everything is perfect until her son dies in a tragic car accident. The threads seem to unravel all at the same time, and the glorious purple mask crumbles. Will Kathy-Lynn have the strength to pick up the pieces and start again or will be consumed by the crumbling of a great masquerade?
