Victoria Winters did not have a crush on her old college classmate, Kyle O'Reilly! She was "ole reliable Tory," Kyle's buddy, the one who had settled into her career and was subletting his apartment while he roamed the globe on business.

But when Kyle arrived unexpectedly, with crutches and a large suitcase, Tory panicked. He lounged around in provocative cutoffs, which accommodated the cast but did little to calm Victoria's nerves.
