Even though it is true to say in 1968 that Liverpool was awash with talent and greatness, Stuart  Howitt stood out with his good looks, sophistication and talent. Stu Howitt was a one-off with his rarity of uniqueness, phenomenally so. At that time in Liverpools rich history Stu  was right up there with Liverpools finest sons. The best of best! A brave courageous champion, sophisticated and true with a gentleness of a real gentleman, a genuine man, he was rich in every sense of the word! The late Stu Howitt was all of these things and much more, who has enriched my extremely difficult life for 40 years.
