A Chalice For The Dying — Tom Murphy

A goldsmith in the Middle East, near the ancient hills of Judea, fabricates a chalice for the grandson of the Apostle Timothy. The goldsmith's apprentices kill him, steal it and start it on a 2000-year journey filled with tragedy and death. Anyone, not a direct descendant of Timothy, who lays a bare hand upon the golden cup, soon finds himself in need of a new head â€" his having been violently removed.
