A teenage daughter whose best friend is Karen's missing daughter and who fears her fate will be the same, and a young son whose innocence Lori struggles to keep.



Through it all, she dreams of horrible deaths, of a monster in human guise lurking among them, and her fate growing closer with each passing day. When the living nightmare who takes pleasure in ending human lives with slow strokes of a knife, and recording such deaths, strikes, she cannot afford to be taken by surprise.
