Recovering from a long streak of bets on horses that couldn't lose but did, Shifty Lou Anderson is more than happy to augment his meager income by playing part-time chauffeur to an elderly oddball millionaire--especially since most of the driving takes Shifty and his employer directly to the Santa Anita racetrack.
