Description
A Lovecraftian Weird Science Novella When science goes wrong, it really goes wrong. An experiment off the Newfoundland coast during the Cold War leads to tragedy, one that the scientists involved feel compelled to rectify. What they discover is worse than their worst fears -- reality itself is in flux, the basic building blocks that hold the cosmos together are fragmenting and reforming. Can science win the day in the face of an indifferent universe? This novella was the original concept behind my novel THE DUNFIELD TERROR, and forms the historical back story in that longer work. It is presented here in its original form for the first time.
