Description
On a rainy morning in Vienna, an American intelligence officer named Westfall is severed from his organization but given a new passport in the name of Jack Weston. The reason for this name change? Westfall/Weston is sought by the government of Ukraine on an international arrest warrant with the suspicion that he has illegal access to millions of U.S. dollar aid funds. Jack Weston flies to the U.S. and heads south until he runs out of gas in the village of McCrae in the mountains of East Tennessee, the antithesis of chic Viennese caf© society. But other dynamics are in progress: a wealthy lawyer, Jerry Holbrooke, and his artistic, stunning blonde second wife are trapped in a dare to brew illegal moonshine whiskey. With Jack's recall and quick shifting of focus, action swings from McCrae to Vienna, Kiev, the distant fields of Ukraine, and back to the Tennessee moonshine hollows where the strands are knit together amid late-night gunfire.
