Tate Redding, a medically discharged former Marine, has placed himself in exile from his friends and family. He feels that while he is suffering from PTSD, and until he can control it, he is a danger to those he loves most. Tate comes across a young women stranded in a snow storm, not knowing that he is helping the woman who could the balm to his tattered heart and soul. Kallie Kent, the young woman stranded and in need of help, is struggling with her own inner demons, she wonders how she could possibly be any help to anyone. Will these two troubled hearts find solace in each other and will they survive the storms out to get them?
