Description
In this continuing story of Morgan and Jessie, Gerald Grant an eminent DNA scientist has discovered a DNA modification that will revolutionize education. He will never see it come to fruition, however, after he is murdered in his lab. Gerald's wife, used to getting her way, enlists Jessie's law firm to assist in finding her husband's killer. Morgan is stressing out over her upcoming bar exam. Morgan meets Charlize Tremane, and forms a quick bond in the stress of the exam. Charlize's grandfather is the notorious crime boss Carlo Genovese. Morgan saves a woman from being raped and the ensuing relationship yields one more murder to be solved; a murder that puts Morgan in direct contact with her new friend's crime boss grandfather, and is an eye opener for her first major case as a newly sanctioned lawyer.
