Hollywood Angel — Wayne Saunders

Angel McFadden, in desperation to leave a step father who has tried to rape her, on high school graduation night, and a mother who seems indifferent, runs away from Kansas for a life in Hollywood. She wants to be a star. In Hollywood, she gets her big chance through a lucky befriending of a producer's secretary and she starts her climb to stardom, until the call comes that her mother has died. Her lesbian friend and studio aide, Maggie, form a bond that starts Angel down the road to adulthood. She came to Hollywood in her teens and has had to grow up fast. She has to consider her lot in life and what she wants for herself. Angel races, late at night, to help her friend out after being accused of murder by as star's wife and she has no idea about the stalker that's following her day in and day out. Will her new agent Tandy help her through it all?
