Description
After surviving a journey in which they encounter brutal pirates, violent attacks and a shipwreck on the shores of the New World, Linnett Wainwright Foster and her husband, John, are learning to survive in the untamed wilds of the American Colonies during the 18th century. Things do not go smoothly for the tempestous Linnett as she tries to adjust to the responsibilities of being a wife and taking care of a household, including tasks she never had to face at her home Manor as the spoiled daughter of an English aristocrat. Along the way, Linnett finds herself enduring the harsh elements, bear attacks and exotic strangers. She gradually acquires the skills she needs to become a Colonist wife. Her husband finds he is constantly curbing her more free- spirited behaviour with a firm corrective hand! During their adventures, the newlyweds grow closer even as they wonder whether their plans for a journey out of the wilderness and to the city of Boston will ever become a reality. This is a sequel to His Spoilt Lady, The Adventures of Linnett Wainwright Book One
