Description
Life for sixteen years old, Emmanuel Anthony Wayne, has just gotten interesting. For starters, he gets into an expected fistfight in front of family and friends. His ego takes a heavy blow and his pride is crushed as a result of the humiliating defeat. The fight is symbolic of his relationship with his mother, Eva, tumultuous and one sided. The fight does more than shake his self-confidence; it weakens his faith in God. Believing God has abandoned him, Emmanuel decides to return the favor by leaving his church and finding his place in the world. He ventures into a lane he's not use to. Will the allure of this new lifestyle keep Emmanuel stuck to the streets or will he return to his roots?
