Description
America begins frantic, last-minute preparations to defend the Philippines from the Japanese. The Philippines garrison is untrained and poorly-equipped with weapons better suited to the Great War of 1914-1918. The Army Air Forces sends the best they have to reinforce the air defenses, including two brothers, Jack and Charlie Davis. Charlie, a West Point graduate, flies a B-17D with the crack 19th Bomb Group. Jack, a recent graduate of flight school, is assigned to the 21st Pursuit Squadron flying P-40s. Their task is to defend the Philippines against the Japanese, who outnumber them more than ten to one.
