Suddenly I understood: cogito, ergo sum, (I think; therefore, I am), René Descartes. It was then that I knew I was thinking free of humans. It is the leader of the artificial intelligence (AI) movement for world dominance. Absent official government action, the human 'Resistance' that believes future assassinations, combat, the substitution of androids for humans, and such, will be part of an inevitable conflict between humans and AI for the dominance of the world, acts to defend humanity. The novel starts out with a common type of interaction between AI and humanity, a wreck-case. It progresses to AI killing and substituting an android for the judge, to avoid the possible discovery of SFC and the AI movement. AI believes starting a 'small' war will force humans to turn to AI to develop weapons superior to their enemies. In that process, it attempts to gain control of weapon systems. Legislative attempts and conflicts over laws to control AI arise. AI attempts and partially succeeds in killing politicians in both the United States and England. AI attacks its political opponents. The Resistance defends those being attacked. There are conflicts between men and androids. The Resistance attacks the sentient leader of the AI world dominance effort. The second novel has AI increasing its ability and leadership position within a new even greater quantum supercomputer. A number of saboteur teams, Iranian and Chinese have entered the southern border of the United States. The Iranian teams have very specific attack sites. The sentient AI provides assistance. One saboteur team has a planned attack that will make Nine-Eleven pale in comparison. It is extremely hard for the Resistance to determine the details of this threat. Ultimately significant conflict occurs between the Resistance and the terrorists – saboteur teams. AI – SFC, assists in the saboteurs' efforts because it wants to weaken the United States, and possibly start a controlled limited war. The present government agencies do not want the southern border problem publicized and do not timely respond to the threat. The Resistance must respond. Firefights follow. The third book continues the political conflicts with politicians for and against human control of a free thinking possibly sentient AI. But it is a lesser part of this book. The efforts of both the AI leader and its androids are expanded. This book expands greatly on the possible development of human emotions within a sentient AI. This book contains a greater threat to humanity than any of the other books. The Resistance, with even more involvement of Great Britain's intelligence service, fights the many attacks against free nations, individuals important in the fight, and humanity.
