Haven has been Braces home for three years. He has seen many new arrivals, coming from Dunya and beyond, seeking refuge and escape from the ever-growing darkness. Haven is indeed a place of safety and unexpected joys, though Brace has found that life can still have its sorrows. Now he must find a way to cope with the issues of daily life while the world outside Havens gate grows more and more dangerous seemingly each day. What is his place in Haven? Brace wonders.
