On arrival, his first impression is everything he feared -- toxic behaviour and abuse -- but the situation improves when he meets Zand, the charismatic manager of The Blue Pearl. There's an instant attraction between the two men, and it seems like Blyham might not be as bad as he believed.

Kurtis goes home with Zand after his gig, but things take a dark turn when Zand's lodger Stewart invites an anonymous hook-up back to the house. It's a night Kurtis will never forget -- a roller coaster of success, blistering passion and shocking danger.
