Elk Season — Terry Watkins

Backpacker Ryan Hart is deep in a Colorado wilderness with two fellow hikers from L.A. when he witnesses the death throes of the most incredible animal he's ever laid eyes on. Realizing the elk wasn't killed for meat, but as a trophy, infuriates Ryan. A nonviolent young man by nature, one who would rather run than fight, he is surprised at his extreme reaction.
