This book can be read to all audiences and delivers a harrowing tale of a little girl who must overcome her doubts to reclaim her voice and identity. The author, Desiree Devonne Smith is a clinical social worker, hypnotherapist and shaman that uses her clinical tools to write books with the intention of healing childhood trauma wounds and this book is one of a series with that in mind. The book is an innovative new genre that she likes to call, 'inner-children, ' in that they are meant for all ages.
