When Deputy U.S. Marshal Custis Long is dispatched down Pecos way to put a stop to some stagecoach robbers, he finds himself facing down a ruthless businessman who's not above cold-blooded murder. No sooner is Longarm enjoying the charms of a local señorita than the businessman's hired guns ambush him.
