Gwen unlocked the door of the shop, stepped inside...and stopped in shocked dismay.
What lay before her was complete havoc. Showcases had been broken and the articles on display in them--bridal headdresses and filmy veiling--ripped to shreds. Dresses had been torn from their hangers and slashed to ribbons. The drawers of her desk had been pulled out and the papers scattered...
