Description
With the absence of La Patron's Knights, the Joints Chiefs have enacted a risky plot to create a team of high functioning fighters as replacements. When enlisted soldiers die in the military, they arbitrarily receive a shot of a serum created by the Liege decades ago. If the soldier revives with his mind intact, they are mutated with one or more gifts or power. They are sent to train in the Olympus Project where they receive a new name and destiny. Before the Joint Chiefs were created, the Liege used humans for their experiments. Hundreds died on the operating table until the Liege changed specimens and began experimenting on full-blood wolves instead. The humans who survived the surgeries mutated with additional gifts and powers, forever changed. Hunted, they eventually escaped the Continent. They arrived in the United States after the Civil War and headed west to hide from the Liege and to survive. Using their unique skillsets, they took on jobs which earned them a stellar reputation. When someone began stoning disabled people to death, they were called to find the killer. While working on the case, they met Ryan and Ryder, La Patron's grandsons, and learn the Liege Lords are dead and powerless to harm them. They strike a bargain with La Patron and come face to face with Zeus and Hermes, two mutated soldiers in the Olympus Project. Neither group knew of the other before now. Different origins. Different standards. Different goals. Immediate enemies. Leviticus Club is the first book in The Olympus Project.
