Décor diva, Sari-not-sorry Samson, a doting shih-tzu mom, loves her eclectic clients, coffee, and her bffs, though not necessarily in that order. Her meticulously organized life is turned upside down when the authority-shy interior decorator witnesses a suspect fleeing a murder scene. 

When Sari works up the nerve to report what she saw, a hard-nosed detective turns the tables and eyes her as a suspect. Mad as heck, and determined to prove her innocence, Sari steps way out of her comfort zone and dives into investigating the murder. 

Strange and sinister events shatter her peaceful existence, and against the advice of a madcap supporting cast-her granola-eating parents, her gbf, and her bff-Sari's tenacity gets the best of her. 

The suspects are many and the clues are piling up, but even Sari is shocked when she discovers the killer's identity.
