Mura has suffered another of her random bouts of 'dimensional weirdness' and has detected a cry for help which she wishes to answer. However, this time the trip is radically different, and results in everyone being altered in a very surprising way. But there is a mystery to be solved and it is up to the companions to rescue a kidnapped member of royalty. True to form, they succeed in their mission, but that isn't the end of their troubles. There is another danger present and, in when it materializes, Dawn undergoes an horrific trauma, which results in a bitter fight with Mura. In the meantime, Zea is struggling with her feelings for Mura, being unable to commit herself one way or the other. Ama is critical of Zea's indecision and urges her to reciprocate Mura's obvious devotion, but Zea still can't bring herself to admit there is any link between the two of them.
