Description
You met vampire Remy Bludworth in the Willow Creek Vampires Series. In Craving, there was a two year gap where Sabine thought Remy had left her alone. Hint: He didn't.
Night after night, Remy Bludworth reluctantly fulfills his duty to watch over the chosen one, his betrothed Sabine Crowley, to keep her safe from outsiders who would do her harm just to cause trouble for the vampire lord of Willow Creek. Remy loathes her, or at least tries hard to convince himself of that, but one day she actually is faced with danger from a vampire with delusions of grandeur. Despite the fact that Remy's life would be much easier if Sabine were dead, he finds himself protecting her out of more than just a sense of obligation. But, he can't be in love with her. He's a vampire, she's mortal, and he already had the love of his life and lost her centuries ago. So why can he not shake the feelings sparking deep inside his soul for the girl he's convinced himself he can't stand?
If you haven't read Craving (Book #1 of The Willow Creek Vampires Series), I'd recommend reading it first since this is a short companions story to that book. However, I have written this story in such a way that you should be able to follow it easily enough.
Please consider leaving a review after you've read this story. Leaving a review for books you've read is a tremendous help to authors and readers alike. It doesn't have to be a 5-star review and can be as little as a few words as long as you're honest in your opinion.
