Nine-year-old Hudson decides to spend a week of his summer vacation in the mountains with his grandfather and his big black dog, Bear. Things are not exactly what Hudson expects. The mountain cabin has no TV, internet, or cell phone service. What is a kid to do? Nine-year-old Ian, who lives on the mountain, appears at the door with the solution: go exploring in the forest.
