Now that his teenage daughter is off to college, Max DeLeon is positively rattling around in his three-story Victorian. There are two possible solutions to the problem: sell the house and see the world -- or fill the sprawling old place with people again. Option one seems far more realistic... until Max meets beautiful single mom Jaimie Eller at the town's new Internet cafe.

Jaimie runs the place -- when she's not raising her lively little girl or taking care of her cantankerous father. The last thing she wants to think about is where they're going to live next... but she has to. When the handsome widower offers to take them all in -- including her daughter's yappy little chihuahua -- Jaimie is in no position to refuse.
