Men with whom she has been intimate are somehow, one-by-one, becoming the victims of a sexual mutilator. The similarities of the attacks are too stark -- they have a common denominator -- which becomes too graphic to behold Murder, mayhem, shady political coups and an ex-husband surfacing while Susanna is planning a wedding to another, has her in well over her head.
