Description
CLEMENTINE has been picked to be Friend of the Week!
This means she gets to be line leader, collect the milk money, and feed the fish. Even better, she'll get a Friend of the Week booklet, in which all the other third grade kids will write why they like her.
But when Clementine reads her best friend Margaret's booklet, she begins to get nervous. The kids write about how neat and organized Margaret is, and those are two things that Clementine is N-O-T, not! Margaret says the only way to make sure the kids write nice things is for Clementine to give them compliments and presents all week. Clementine wants to get a great booklet, so she decides to do what Margaret says. What begins as one of the best weeks ever may turn out to be the worst. Who knew that being a friend could be so hard?
