To April, from Augustine — Sandy Williams

This little story addressed both environmental and intergenerational issues that face our children every day. On an early spring day April finds a neglected and abandoned flower garden that's trying gallantly to push through the snow and debris to find its place in the sun. Through work and perserverance, and with the help of a an older friend, April clears the little garden and is rewarded by the beautiful flowers she knows she's grown herself.
