American Notes — Rudyard Kipling

This is a collection of essays from Kipling's travels across North America. It IS NOT fiction. As was the case with Charles Dickens in a similar book, the accounts are not totally favorable to the American experience, exposing some undeniable warts. Kipling was unquestionably more humorous in the telling than Dickens.
