Her reasons are personal and her scars are deep, but when someone comes after her, she has no choice but to fight back.

Mike adores her. His life is in pieces and his future looks nothing like it used to, but when he looks at Jade, nothing matters except making her smile. She is everything he ever could have wanted, and he never expected to feel anything for another woman after his heart was stomped on. He didn't think he deserved to be happy.

Jade changed that.
