All Aboard! Romance on Route 66 — Robert C. Waggoner

Lilly Fields, a forty year old single woman, was standing in line petrified of the future. Her life had been turned upside down witht the death of her mother. Now for the first time her life she was venturing out of state to visit her aunt in Chicago. She had seen on the Steve Allen Show a Greyhound promotion of a special trip to Chicago over the famous Route 66 in a new version of bus called a Senicrusier. Life for Lilly is about to drastically change as romance, frienships and a new life is about to begin for her in 1957. On the way, disaster strikes, death occurs, and at the end of the day, reward for a good life is felt in the readers heart.
