Abby Colton knew she had been asked to teach at the reservation school only because they couldn't get anyone better. For "better" read "Indian," she thought--especially in Cat Tallman's mind. He was obviously attracted to her, but his determination to fight her presence was equally obvious, and apparently stronger.
