While hiding in Daniel Frasier's hospital room, Zoë receives a request by a restaurant hostess to investigate an accident allegedly caused by ghosts, or more precisely, Shadow People. But when Zoë and Rhonda agree to check it out, they discover the hostess that requested them is missing and her ex-boyfriend, Dags McConnell, none other than the pantsless bartender Zoë once met at Fadó's, has taken an interest in helping them.
