Description
Mark Preston was minding his own business in a bar when newspaperman Steiner called him, wanting a few enquiries made. Preston obliged, but was soon being threatened, beaten up, and finally dragged out of bed as a murder suspect. Rourke of Homicide could smell a frame, and gave Preston a chance to get at the truth. Preston disliked jail, and was glad to be bailed out. Had he known what for, he'd probably have stayed inside.
