Description
This was supposed to be easy, peaceful, quiet -- or so Nick Chaney thought when he moved to Lucky Break in an attempt to get away from the pressures of the family company in Phoenix. He loves owning and running his garage and auto parts store and living by himself, but his house is much too close to the Lucky Break Bed and Breakfast. The pretty owner, Grace Oesterling, has two mischievous kids who apparently think he would make a great new dad. She also has tourists, a choir practicing in her basement, and a constant stream of the town's off-beat citizens in and out of her place. She is a pushover for any hard luck story, exactly like Nick's mom and sisters have always been. He doesn't want to get involved, but he's finding harder and harder to stay away.
