Laura Decker came to South Carolina to pay her respects to her late, beloved great aunt, Belle. She never expected to inherit Belle's ramshackle old house and seven cats. Nor had she expected to have opinionated, sexy Sam Calhoun right next door with the dogs he trained. To complicate matters, Sam was also the executor of her aunt's estate and he was happy to tell her that in order to inherit anything, she had to stay in the house -- with the cats -- for a year.
