Description
'The best in the business.' - Kirkus Reviews. As a result of renegade marauders killing and plundering in Cedar Valley, two local men, Isaac Bowen and Jered Salte, went in pursuit. There were five renegades whom they ran down and killed one by one. During the process they stole fresh horses, encountered a cranky old man and an enraged bear, and were nearly hanged for being horse-thieves. Shooting renegades was noisy, hanging them was much quieter. If one method caused problems, the other method was used - but 'justice' was done.
