Bert Gaston is an ex-military man who has his own secrets to hide. When he experiences weird vibes in his apartment in a small New Jersey town - small by Jersey standards, anyway - he contacts one of the elders in town. She will send someone who will take care of those problems.

Tessa arrives at Bert's apartment and is immediately attracted to his chiseled good looks, never mind that he lost a leg in a battle. She summons her aura cleansing and investigative abilities to clear out the nasty auras and sniff out who loosed them in Bert's apartment and the rest of the apartment house.

Tessa must act quickly to contain and cleanse the bad auras before she or anyone else ends up dead.
