Lovely Nancy Gade had come to Michael Vassi's magnificent estate to evaluate his latest acquisition -- a painting her hoped was a genuine Renaissance masterpiece. But soon she found herself hopelessly in love with the sensitive, eccentric collector, whose tragic past was shrouded in secrecy.

Even as Nancy was drawn into Michael's tender embrace, she knew that someone, or something, was threatening her.
