Description
The serenity of Flower Creek was blasted apart by gunfire. Inside a minute two men lay dead and another mortally wounded. Reverend Joe Slate offered his services only to have himself and partner Jim Brandon, a professional gambler, drawn into a web of double-dealing. Before their stay in Tucson was over, the gun-toting preacher and the gambler would find themselves caught in the deadly crossfire between the Settlers' League and the all-powerful Southern Pacific Rail Road.
