Flash — Mike Roberts

Vernon "Flash" Gibbs was headed for sports stardom until an accident derailed his dreams. A downward spiral continued as he committed a carefully planned violent crime. The rural county sheriff Jim Fowler was smarter than Vernon had thought, which resulted in a prison sentence. While incarcerated, Vernon's hatred of Fowler grew into an elaborate plot of murder. Upon his release, the horrible plan became a battle of wits between Gibbs and Fowler.
